A first editing pass on your book manuscript
Authors report using their bot as a first-pass editor that catches errors their proofreaders missed. You keep the final say on every change.

The problem
A professional edit costs money, and proofreaders still miss things.
How the bot does it
Users report:
- @michaelcrow6 says his bot helped edit his book and found a lot his proofreaders had missed. He says it saved him many hours and the cost of an editor. That's his own claim.
- @HopefullySC uses her bot as a "first pass" editor on a manuscript she'd been stuck on, and says its corrections and suggestions beat a $30-a-month tool she'd paid for.
- Keep the final say on every change.
Setup steps
- 1Share the manuscript, or one chapter to start.
- 2Say what kind of feedback you want: typos, grammar, continuity, or pacing.
- 3Ask for a list of suggestions with locations instead of a rewrite.
- 4Tell it: Change nothing in the file. I decide every edit.
Example prompt
Do a first editing pass on the attached manuscript. List typos, grammar problems, continuity errors, and unclear passages with page or chapter references. Suggest fixes, but don't rewrite my voice. Change nothing in the file.
The result
A list of suggested fixes with locations. These are authors' own accounts, and you still decide every edit.
Results are the user's own claim. We haven't checked them.
