Grok Bot Uses (grokbotuses.com) is an independent site. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we store your email address and the date you signed up.
• Submissions. If you use the Submit or Advertise form, we store what you type in: your name, email, the description, any prompt or source link you add, and whether you said it's OK to feature it.
• Basic abuse protection. When you submit a form or upvote, we store a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address so we can limit spam and allow one upvote per visitor. We don't store your raw IP address for this.

We don't sell your information. We don't ask for payment details on this site.

Why we collect it

• Your email, to send you the newsletter you asked for.
• Your submission, to review it and, if you allowed it, feature it with credit.
• Hashed IP addresses, to stop spam and duplicate votes.

How long we keep it

• Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your email.
• Submissions are kept until you ask us to delete them.

Who processes it

The site and its database are hosted on Lovable Cloud, which runs on Supabase. They store this data for us.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any newsletter. To ask us to delete a submission or any other data, contact us through the Submit page and say what you want deleted.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
