Bot security audit

Reviews your own Grok Bot setup and flags anything with more access than it needs.

When to use it

Use it after adding new bots, plugins, or logins, and once a month.

What it needs

Access to my own Grok Bot setup. No outside accounts.

Steps

  1. List my bots, routines, plugins and connections, and saved browser logins.
  2. List sensitive files in /workspace (keys, passwords, exports).
  3. Flag anything broader than its job needs.
  4. Suggest a fix for each.

How it checks itself

Name the exact bot, routine, connection, or file for each finding. Don't print secret values.

What you get back

A findings list ranked by risk, each with a suggested fix.

Needs your OK

Change nothing. Stop and ask me before changing, deleting, or revoking anything.

How to add it to Grok Bot

  1. Tap Copy skill above.
  2. Paste it into a chat with one of your Bots and send. The Bot saves it as a skill. Private skills are shared by all your Bots, though a Bot may need the right connector or login to use one.
  3. To use it, type / in the desktop composer and pick Bot security audit.
  4. Don't see it? Open Connect apps → Your plugins → Manage plugins and skills and check it's listed under Private skills.
  5. Try it once on a safe example. If you want it on a schedule, ask the Bot to create a routine that runs it, then use Test run before turning it on.
